Ahead Of CES 2021: Dell’s Latitude 9420 ‘The Best Machine In The Industry For User Experiences’

CES, dubbed as the most influential tech event in the world, is now an all-digital event amid a global pandemic, inviting the entire tech community to “safely share ideas and introduce the products that will shape our future.”

But of the major players that typically showcase at the event, ahead of CES 2021, Dell Technologies launched a suite of new products to help partners meet their customers’ end-to-end needs – no matter where they are.

Rahul Tikoo, senior vice president and general manager of Commercial Client Products at Dell Technologies, told CRNtv he’s most excited about the Latitude 9420, a 14-inch “ultra-premium business PC,” according to an Oct. 2020 Dell analysis.

“I love that we’re announcing the Latitude 9420. You guys should be looking at the 9420 that’s the best machine in the industry for user experiences,“ said Tikoo. “We’ve built in the best conferencing experience, productivity experience, collaboration experience and connectivity with 5G in the product, and we’re bringing all of this to life with Dell Optimizer that is an intelligence software that learns how you use the machine and optimizes it for your use cases.”

Dell launched the optimization software tool at last year’s CES.

Tikoo told CRNtv, “It’s taken a lot interest from our customers and we’re expanding this again in the theme of collaboration, one of the features that we’ve added to Dell Optimizer is ExpressConnect and what that does is it optimizes your PC for the best bandwidth wifi access point,” said Tikoo. “It also gives your video conferencing application the most bandwidth.”

“So not only are we investing in great conferencing and collaboration tools in the PC, we’re doing that in the accessories and then Dell Optimizer makes it real with intelligent experiences built on top of that,” Tikoo added.
