Accenture Acquisition Spree Grows With Enaxis Purchase

Global solution provider Accenture on Monday said it acquired Enaxis Consulting in a move to gain new digital capabilities, data science and agile project delivery.

The acquisition is the latest in a long string of well over 10 acquisitions of other solution providers that Dublin, Ireland-based Accenture has made in 2018.

Enaxis Consulting is a Houston-based management consulting firm experienced in digital capabilities, data science, and agile project delivery for upstream oil and gas and oilfield services sector and the airline industry businesses, including multiple Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies.

An Accenture spokesperson told CRN via email that the acquisition of Enaxis Consulting, which actually closed Friday, brings to Accenture about 75 people including its two co-founders who plan to remain with Accenture.

The spokesperson said Accenture is not disclosing the value of the acquisition.

Enaxis Consulting is only the latest in a string of at least a dozen acquisitions done this year by Accenture, which is ranked number two in CRN's Solution Provider 500 listing of 2018.

Accenture last month acquired Kaplan, a Stockholm, Sweden-based provider of customer relationship management services, and Intrigo Systems, a provider of SAP technologies.

The company in October acquired Kolle Rebbe, a German design agency with a history of working with high-profile clients such as Google and Netflix, and TargetST8, a New York-based provider of digital lending solutions that include deploying artificial intelligence and robotic process automation.

In August, Accenture acquired Mindtribe, a San Francisco-based hardware engineering company that counts among its customer base such industry giants as Apple, Google, Tesla, Lyft, Adobe, Ferrari and NASA. The company also agreed to acquire Pillar Technology, a Columbus, Ohio-based software development company with a focus on rapid and agile development of embedded software developed for smart and connected systems such as autonomous vehicles.

In July, Accenture bought Kogentix, a 275-employee company based in Schaumburg, Ill., that provides AI tools to enterprises.

In June, it acquired Designaffairs, a German strategic design consultant, which followed the April buy of Certus Solutions in a deal to boost its Oracle Cloud capabilities.
