Former Chiefs Of Enterprise, PC Units Expected To Leave HP With Big Payouts
The former chiefs of Hewlett-Packard's Enterprise Group, Dave Donatelli, and PC business, Todd Bradley, are set to leave the company in exchange for "new stock options," according to a Reuters report.
Reuters reported that Bradley is expected to leave HP at the end of February, with about $12 million as part of the vesting agreement, while Donatelli is expected to remain with HP until March, receiving $8 million to $10 million.
An HP spokesman only would say that Donatelli and Bradley "still work at HP, and we have no news to announce about any changes."

Both Donatelli and Bradley were moved to different positions last year by HP CEO Meg Whitman in favor of new leadership for the two businesses. Both business units have enjoyed a rebound after the departure of Bradley last June and Donatelli in August.
Whitman moved Bradley from the top Printing and Personal Systems Group job, a $56 billion business, to executive vice president of strategic growth initiatives. That new post was aimed at enhancing HP's business in China and "extending the company's critical partner relationships around the world."
Donatelli was moved by Whitman from the top Enterprise Group job, a $28 billion business, to a new role focused on identifying early-stage technologies.
HP partners, for their part, say they have seen a stepped-up pace of new product innovation and a reinvigorated channel engagement in the sales trenches with the appointment of former COO Bill Veghte as executive vice president of the Enterprise Group and former HP Senior Vice President Dion Weisler as the executive vice president of the Printing and Personal Systems Group.
"It is completely different," said the CEO for one of HP's top enterprise partners, who did not want to be identified, discussing the changes under Veghte and Weisler. "It is like night and day. We have seen huge changes in both the enterprise and PC businesses with regard to products and channel enagement. On the product side, it is much more about innovation and great products. On the channel side, it is about truly engaging the channel and establishing relationships above just the top solution providers. HP is getting to the everyday channel partners, getting to know us, supporting us and helping us to work with their teams. It is an amazing transformation."
