Red-Hot Data Center MSP Park Place Technologies Buys Entuity
Fast-growing data center solution provider Park Place Technologies makes its twelfth acquisition since 2016 by buying network software specialist Entuity.
Park Place Technologies, one of the world’s fastest growing solution providers, is stepping out of its data center wheelhouse by acquiring network monitoring software specialist Entuity.
“When Entuity is integrated with our award winning ParkView monitoring product, we will deliver enhanced network visibility and Network Operation Center (NOC) services, driving uptime for our global customer base,” said Chris Adams, president and CEO of Park Place Technologies, ranked No. 104 on CRN’s 2019 Solution Provider 500 list. “This acquisition represents a milestone for Park Place Technologies.”
Founded in 1991, the Cleveland-based data center support specialist grew revenues a whopping 104 percent from 2017 to 2018. In April, Park Place acquired U.K.-based third-party maintenance provider MCSA Group Limited to solidify the company’s footprint in the U.K.

The acquisition of Entuity marks the company’s twelfth acquisition since 2016. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Entuity is Park Place’s first acquisition outside of third-party maintenance, further expanding the company’s ability to offer full network visibility to its more than 16,000 global customer base.
Entuity is a global network performance monitoring software company with offices in Boston and London. The software company provides analytics to keep network performing efficiently and visibility into issues before they impact business services.
Park Place said integrating Entuity technology will create the only multi-vendor, global hardware maintenance provider that offers monitoring, automated maintenance, NOC services, event management, probable cause and IT Data Analytics via a single pane of glass.
“It is exciting to see how this partnership will yield mutual benefits for both companies and their customers across the globe,” said Entuity President and CEO Stephen Woodard in a statement. “Entuity’s auto discovery and inventory capabilities, live topology, event management and probable cause analysis strengthens Park Place’s existing innovations and industry-leading solutions such as ParkView.”
ParkView is a secure, hosted monitoring service that proactively identifies component failures and probable cause, delivering an automated service for customers with near-term plans to extend beyond the hardware layer into software to include both operating systems and virtual servers.
Park Place Technologies’ services spread across 55,000 data centers in more than 140 countries.
Last year, Park Place acquired Latin America-based CMG-Nicsa; Singapore-based Axentel Technologies; and Houston-based Solid Systems CAD Services (SSCS). Park Place has opened up new locations in Singapore and Cork, Ireland.
