Pax8 Acquires TVG, Expanding Cloud Services In Baltic Region
‘TVG shares Pax8’s goal to really drive cloud technology and job adoption through these small and midsize businesses, which is typically what we‘ve been focusing on,’ says Harald Nuij, managing director of Pax8 Europe.
Pax8 has acquired Europe-based TVG to expand its cloud services reach and put feet on the ground in several Baltic countries.
Headquartered in Riga, Latvia, TVG has more than 20 years of experience as a cloud services and software distributor and serves more than 1,000 partners. The company is an authorized Microsoft CSP Indirect Provider with a vast solutions portfolio including Adobe, Corel, Altaro, TeamViewer, ManageEngine and several other industry-leading global technologies.
“Europe is a pretty large continent with different cultures, languages, currencies, and all that. One of our dreams, and our vision, is to offer localized support to every IT service provider in Europe,” Harald Nuij, managing director of Pax8 Europe, told CRN.
Denver-based born-in-the-cloud distributor Pax8 has been operating as a central model in Europe with 17 spoken languages to serve its European customers, he said, but there’s been a growing demand from the Baltic region.
“We do feel that this is the moment to step in with a local team and local support, bringing these MSPs to the next level,” Nuij said.
Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
TVG has 14 employees and has offices in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.
“They are highly skilled, and because they are so cloud focused that perfectly aligns with what we have within the Pax8 and Resello,” he said. “It’s a perfect match.”

In July, Pax8 acquired Resello, a cloud services distributor specializing in making as-a-service easy to understand, sell, and manage, expanding to more than 40 European countries.
With TVG, Pax8 said it will increase the quality of services, product portfolio and knowledge offered to partners in the Baltic region.
“TVG shares Pax8’s goal to really drive cloud technology and job adoption through these small and midsize businesses, which is typically what we‘ve been focusing on,” Nuij said. “It’s also making some of the key and new industry-leading vendors like Adobe available to Pax8.”
He added that the Baltic states have also experienced strong economic growth over the last two years and are expected to accelerate in the years ahead.
“Something that most people don‘t know is that they are very digitally developed societies,” he said. “Estonia has made incredible progress on their digital journey in terms of digital public services. They are in fact one of the front runners [and] one of the most advanced digital societies in the world. This is something that we see coming down to the IT service provider environment.”
