Lenovo Postpones Transform 2020 Conference To The Fall
The conference includes an Accelerate track for channel partners, and had originally been planned for June.
Lenovo is postponing its Transform 2020 conference until the fall, the latest tech conference to be affected by the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.
The PC and data center technology giant disclosed the decision in an email to CRN, and said that the new dates for the conference are still being determined. Transform 2020 had originally been scheduled to take place June 16 to 18 in Las Vegas.

Lenovo's plan for Transform 2020 is to include a track for channel partners, under the Accelerate name.
Lenovo has used Accelerate as the name for its annual partner conference in previous years, while also holding a Transform conference for customers. Transform 2020 will include both partners and customers.
The conference has become one of the countless tech events in 2020 to see a change of plan in response to the worsening coronavirus outbreak in North America.
Some companies have opted to shift to virtual formats, while others such as Lenovo have postponed the in-person event to a later date. Lenovo rival HP Inc. has done both--initially postponing its Reinvent 2020 partner conference until the fall, and then saying this week that the event will ultimately be moved to virtual.
In past years, Lenovo has timed its partner conference with major product announcements, and the event has featured keynotes from many top Lenovo executives.
Meanwhile, Lenovo's Intelligent Devices Group in North America this week launched a "partner stimulus package" to help shore up cash flows at solution providers in the highly uncertain economic environment.
The initiative aims to enable more predictable earnings for partners as well as faster payouts and extended financing terms, Lenovo executives told CRN.
