Park Place Technologies Acquisition Tear Continues With IntelliNet NOC Purchase
'Coupled with our existing hardware support offerings, NOC capabilities set Park Place apart from the competitive set,' says Park Place Technologies President and CEO Chris Adams.
One of the fastest growing solution providers in the world, Park Place Technologies, is continuing its M&A charge in 2020 with the purchase of the network operations center (NOC) business of IntelliNet with the strategy to expand its offerings outside of the third-party hardware maintenance space. The acquisition marks Park Place’s thirteenth acquisition since 2016.
Park Place Technologies has been rapidly expanding its offerings over the past several years through acquisitions to provide customers with more holistic data center solutions. In 2019, the Cleveland, Ohio-based company acquired network monitoring software company Entuity to boost its network visibility and network operation center (NOC) services, while also buying U.K.-based MCSA Group Limited to solidify its footprint in the U.K.
“This acquisition, coupled with Park Place’s recent purchase of Entuity, continues to expand Park Place Technologies’ capabilities and offerings beyond traditional maintenance and support,” said Chris Adams, president and CEO of Park Place Technologies, in an email to CRN. “Specifically, IntelliNet provides Park Place with OS and application monitoring and remediation. Customers will benefit from IntelliNet’s expertise in running an operations center that monitors and remediates hardware, network, operating system and applications. Coupled with our existing hardware support offerings, NOC capabilities set Park Place apart from the competitive set.”

Park Place Technologies is a red-hot data center hardware maintenance and support services specialist that is a CRN 2019 Triple Crown award winner and ranks No. 104 on CRN’s 2019 Solution Provider 500 list.
The company grew revenue by over 100 percent from 2017 to 2018 thanks, in part, to acquisitions in 2018 that included Latin America-based CMG-Nicsa, Singapore-based Axentel Technologies and Houston-based Solid Systems CAD Services.
To further spur sales growth in 2020, the company made some significant hires recently including Kathie Lyons as its new executive vice president and general manager of its ParkView services business. Lyons previously served as Dell EMC’s vice president of Enterprise Programs and National Security. The solution provider also snagged David Cox, a longtime IT veteran who has also held top roles at Dell EMC, as Park Place’s new chief operating officer.
Park Place is an infrastructure management company with more than 17,000 customers, including service of all tier-one OEM equipment across 58,000 data centers in more than 150 countries.
Founded in 1991, the fast-growing solution provider recently introduced a new approach to managing and maintaining customer’s critical infrastructure to accelerate business transformation dubbed Discover, Monitor, Support, Optimize (DMSO). The company said by combining its hardware maintenance with ParkView monitoring services, Entuity Network Analytics and now IntelliNet’s NOC, Park Place can dramatically simplify maintenance and management of digital infrastructure environments.
Adams said adding IntelliNet’s NOC capabilities to his company’s portfolio, “Furthers our mission to help customers discover, monitor, support and optimize their data centers. Now we offer our customers an aggregated service delivery platform with the ability to monitor and remediate hardware, networks, operating systems and applications.”
The CEO said the future is bright for Park Place in 2020. “We are one of the few in the industry able to provide the breadth and depth of services across the infrastructure, with more to come over the next six months,” said Adams.
